This week's update from Frank: -

What a great competition.  Many ,many thanks to the Karyn for the Easter Bunny Shoot.  After the first round John Cos was tied on first place with Geoff  on 744 and it looked like Geoff was to be challenged,  with one round to go.  It wasn't to be,  John  could have won today but missing out on a chicken was costly  after Evil Bunny with Geoff ,  every thing hinged on knocking down, last shot, one chicken.  Guess what , it didn't fall over.  With that challenge out of the way Geoff went on to win by nearly 200 points on 1376.  Mark E shot well to take out second on 1184 with Frank third on 1104.  New shooter Charlene showed promise with a score of 378 on the last round.  This Easter Bunny shoot was very challenging partly because of the target colours and a lot hinged on the Easter Chicken being knocked down.( Eh John) Don't worry we all sweated on the last shot.  So to the Cooks ,  once again thank you for a fun day at the range.  I still have to unwrap my Hugh Easter Egg.

Next  Saturday it is Rifles at 50 metres for pcps.  and 30 metres for Springer's  etc.

There will be shooting on this Wednesday at the range starting 9am and it is a practice day to try out rifles,  pistols , and or settings etc.  Training hints will be given to get better scores ( 69 years of shooting and I am still learning). On that note I will sign off.  So keep those pellets flying straight

Cheers Frank

The happy winners of the Easter Bunny Shoot
