Frank's match report:- Our 15 metre Mirrored Silhouette air pistol competition was shot with high expectations by all. Before I start let me bust a commonly held belief. The chickens are the hardest , yes 37 missed out of 80. Pigs and Turkeys both 13/80 and then the Rams, who would have thought that on the day that 15 Rams were missed out of 80 two more than both the Turkeys and pigs. Now for results. After the first round Brian was leading with 8 for a clear frame and Geoff could only get 3 and then scored 8 clear frames for a total of 35 but it wasn't enough to head off a steady Mark with 7,7,8,8,7, who had the winning score of 37, Frank was third on 34. John was fourth with 30. In summary all shooters shot well and what a better way to spend a Saturday morning.The banter that goes on makes one wonder if we turn up for the shooting or the Bull Dust that's talked about. Once again congratulations Mark on a good win. To all my very good shooting friends the traffic lights are orange not green so be careful as you go about your lives.
