Indoor Pistols Silhouettes
The core of the clubs pistol shooters fronted for a 4/10 cub challenge. Four rounds of ten silhouettes shot consecutively, we have enough history of this format to recognise that nothing can be taken for granted.
The first round had some cobwebs to be cleared away but Frank came very close with a great start to the day. Scores Mark 33, John 27, Frank 38, Nigel 23, Geoff 28.
During the second round Nigel put up a commendable 31/40 and Geoff came through with a 40/40.
Nicely done Geoff
Tough round, with no reference as in target shooting what do you correct for, when freshly painted you get a little visual feedback as they fall but it is only momentary. How they fall can be useful including noting any spin and how the silhouettes are able to pirouette and remain on the plinth defies belief.
Do you approach the task largest to smallest or get the chickens out of the way?
