Steve Smith Memorial Championship Trophy
Indoor for both air pistol and air rifle shooters.
A great day was enjoyed by all and time taken to remember Steve as a fine shooter and respected club member.
Some selected pistols, some chose mixed and some stuck to their "guns" with rifles, all options were open. Rules were reviewed, safety briefing completed and the fruitcake for morning tea was noted. Gas capsule replacements, air reservoir filling and pressure selection were all to take their toll over the competition.
During the early rounds it was hard to pick a leader and everyone seemed capable of missing a silhouette or touching the 9 for a multiplier. Then Keith came to bat so to speak.
Scores: 1st place Keith 1560 points, 2nd, John Snr 1480 points and John C 3rd with 1412 points
