Air Pistols Indoors
Chosen distance was 12.5 yards as a bit of extra practice for upcoming Steve Smith Memorial. Scoring was to be by group sizings averaged over 10 targets and 5 shots each. Standing position was acceptable but most chose bench rest for accuracy. 1/2 inch grouping was the expected standard and 1/4inch group would be tops.
It appears we could all close in on the 1/2 inch group but Geoff also had consistency to take the day.

Geoff average 0.38 with a best group of 0.32
Nigel average 0.73 with best group of 0.52
Frank average 0.57 with best group of 0.45
John C average 0.74 with best group 0.48
Mark average 0.54 with best group of 0.41
Corrected for handicap to keep a watch on who is improving. 1st John C, 2nd Frank and 3rd Geoff.
John C was up there again and is currently the holder of two club trophies so we can expect some good shooting from him as the summer competitions get underway.
It was noted that Mark gave his British made .22 Brocock Grand Prix pistol a day out to get ready for upcoming competitions, another indicator that we are moving into the business end of the year.
