TARC 7.01.2023
Yes it is 2023, as we look back on the last year with a flick through the Scrap book we can see what a great year it has been. Mark has agreed to assemble the scrap book into a digital format and maybe into a hard copy for those who want it.
Well what happened this Saturday? You might well ask!! In my opinion most were suffering from the after affects of Christmas, so not a lot. With rain all day it was decided to shoot indoors at 20 metres at silhouettes and try for the 410 club. John Brogden and John Costain better known as JB and JC. were not the only shooters to achieve the 40 targets. Keith Zehnder our oldest member with a new FX Rifle achieved the feat of knocking down all the Silhouettes after only a couple of months in the club. JB with his Springer made the PCPS sit back and take notice with some nice accurate shooting.
Apart from the just mentioned shooters I think the rest of the club just turned up for the chat over a cuppa, and that is just fine. Although we didn't put the world right we had all the answers, with tongue in cheek. The social aspect of TARC is why we enjoy the club so much.
Cheers Frank E
