This week's update from Frank: -

Well, another Saturday has rolled by, and an exciting time has had by all.  In my long history of shooting, I have enjoyed many great moments both on the open range out to 1000 metres with 7.62 rifles, and also rim fire rifles, from 20 yards to 100 yds.  All the above needed many travel miles to get to shoots.  Now its Air Rifle, and I cannot wait until next Wednesday or Saturday to shoot Air, I guess I am addicted.   A big part is the banter and bullshit that goes on.  The leg pulling that is never ending.  Yes that’s the fun part.  Then it’s the respect to other shooters.  Helping one another.  Its a good mix

The wind was having a influence on pellets at  50 metres and yet 6 scores over 90 were recorded,  so shooters are being more wind savvy.  We are always trying to beat the wind but sometimes the wind wins.  Geoff had the best score of the day with a 98.  New shooter Shane shot a 97 with 87,81 and Charlene 95.  Tim over 6 cards averaged 84.  Frank had a average of 90.

At 30 metres with knock downs Mark was in form with 8/10 . Charlene close behind 7/10 and Nigel 6/10.  Brian had 51,  78 and 83.
Geoff brought along the tools to expand the shooting point to the end of the mound.  It was timely, as 5 shooting tables were used all the time, owing to Air Rifle becoming more popular,   plus more shooters participating.

Cheers Frank E
