Weekly match report from Frank: What a great day it was for the TARC members and guests to have a Christmas bbq and air pistol shoot for the 4-10 club. Although we all tried Geoff is the only one to manage to get the 40 targets required and that was a few weeks ago. Karyn, Mark and Nigel had their moments but none could get on a roll. Me thinks the smells coming in from the bbq being cooked out through the door broke all concentrations. Five of our partners came for the bbq and saw what we do on Saturday mornings. We are so lucky to have the use of the range which is probably one of the best in NZ. Which we have full use of. It is a possibility that some time in the future we might be having moving targets. It is in the idea stage as yet a bit like deer stalkers running boar. A new challenge maybe!! If members agree to it. A sketch plan will be at next Saturday's shoot for members to comment on.
