Outdoor Rifles 50 Metres Teams Event
Overcast and humid conditions with a changeable breeze present all morning.
With an 09:00 start the range was prepared, rules reviewed and safety briefing completed so the inaugural TARC Teams Event was underway.
Round 1: Mark 65, John 67, Nigel 85, Keith 71, Geoff 57, Frank 72
Round 2: Mark 71, John 73, Nigel 79, Keith 88, Geoff 69, Frank 79
Round 3: Mark 72, John 61, Nigel 77, Keith 85, Geoff 71, Frank 68
Round 4: Mark 57, John 65, Nigel 88, Keith 63, Geoff 69, Frank 55
The last round was particularly difficult for most except Nigel who produced a great card of 88 along with the days best total of 329. A special thanks to Geoff who was the event host and maintained the scores progressively throughout the day with regular updates and a full assessment at days end. The event will certainly be placed on the club calendar. The teams concept provided some spirited competition and the close score confirmed the team selection and club effort to maintain a handicap rating is well founded.

We were all winners today thanks to the first class Cheese Scones enjoyed by all, nice one Mrs Kay.
