Indoor Rifles

25 yards 20 shot cards.

Warmers (3) only, all sighting to be done prior to competition.

Where there are multiple holes in a target only the lowest score will be counted.

Shooters fronted with PCP, break barrel and side lever springers and it provided for an interesting and fun day. Generally results improved possibly as the day warmed. Pellets, trigger technique and pressure settings were all discussed

Totals were up there with Geoff scoring 784/800 and with a 198 produced the best card of the day. Keith was closest with 765 and John C a credible 761.

4 rounds meant 80 target shots required and a growing interest was on scoring an X where the black bull was punched out cleanly. Eagle eye Nigel reported on progress and it provided for some anticipation as it could only be confirmed with the cards delivered to the marking table.

Handicap results were assessed over the 4 rounds to keep an eye on who is improving, no personal best outcomes were recorded.
