Thank you Frank for this Saturday's match report:
The TARC members were blessed with another sunny Saturday morning, and so gravitated to the outdoor 50 metre range. Targets were knock down field targets for the first time on new base boards. What a great idea, as now there is no need to knock pegs into the stony ground, and they worked a treat. Targets were set at a range from 10 to 40yards. For target pistols you have to be kidding me. The first round was led by Mark with 5 /5. Tim was knocking down 40 yard targets. After a cuppa we were back at it again and Geoff showed us all how it was done by scoring 10 consecutive targets. This was despite a swirling wind. How can little 10 inch barrels score so well?
Although there was a smaller group of shooters everyone had fun. There is a want to help shooters with any problems that they may have. Thanks to Geoff and Nigel and their tech knowledge.
As I sign off this report at 4pm Saturday the clouds have rolled in and the rain is back again. So till we shoot again Keep Safe and keep Covid aware.
