Excuses from members for those wayward shots appear to getting more creative:
- I dropped my rifle - no wait, my wife dropped my rifle.
- My wife dropped mine too, as I was getting a shirt out of the wardrobe.
- I should have sighted in my rifle before shooting.
- It is the atmosphere - a lot heavier today.
- It must be the cold - my pellets and rifle are cold.
The competition was really close, with Richard being nominated most improved shooter.
